Third Party Reproduction Psychological Evaluations

Egg Donors

Egg donors are required to undergo extensive medical testing as well as a psychological evaluation to provide the most accurate information. The psychological evaluation is used to gather family history and personal information relevant in determining genetic and biological patterns.

The assessment will inquire about any family psychiatric history as well as your educational history to assess for any signs of learning disorders. The psychological assessment is designed to help match the egg donor with the best fit parents-to-be.

Additionally, it is important to confirm that you are fully informed and are able to give appropriate consent to this decision.

Potential short-term and long-term psychological effects will be discussed and evaluated.
