Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Christy Parsons, LCPC

Hi, I’m Christy!

I look forward to getting to know you. Every stage of life presents different challenges and obstacles. We can often handle life’s challenges with grace, but sometimes we need help, and that’s OK. Sometimes we need someone to help us to see the light in the darkness, to navigate the chaos of life, or to help us find the courage to put one foot in front of the other. Deciding to seek counseling is a major first step and I would be honored to walk with you through your journey to wellbeing.

A little bit about me:

I started my career as a teacher and school counselor in Baltimore County. After 25 years of helping students and their families navigate life’s challenges within the school system, I wanted to continue helping others through private practice. Watching my students and families persevere and grow was the most meaningful aspect of my career. Now, I am excited to work more in depth with teens and adults, and to help them gain the change they are seeking.

What you can expect from me:

There isn’t a single solution to every problem, nor is there any one therapeutic technique or theory that can explain or solve all of life’s complexities.

I believe that each person’s story is unique and so too are the solutions to issues they want to address.

I can’t promise to have all of the answers, but I will promise to listen to your story, and to partner with you and support you to find a path forward.
