Many of us take for granted moving through life easily and comfortably, we quickly become aware of this when forced to cope with health issues that impact our everyday routines. When sick, fatigued, or in pain, you may wonder whether or not you will ever feel ‘normal’ again. It can feel like a loss and a profound grief that you never anticipated experiencing.
Some examples of health issues can include:

- Adjusting to a new diagnosis
- Adjusting to a new medical regimen or routine
- Learning how to advocate and communicate new needs
- Increased depression or anxiety surrounding your health condition
