Connect with Growth and Learning
Child & Adolescent Counseling
Childhood and adolescence can be exciting times in our lives when we feel secure and free to learn and grow in a safe way.
Even with strong parental and social support, emotions during this time often range in intensity that can be difficult to navigate and manage. We have been there and recognize how important it is to feel heard and understood, especially during these vital years.
We prioritize the rapport and the therapeutic relationship between your child/adolescent and clinician. That rapport can help with self-esteem, personal awareness, and growth. We encourage parent involvement where appropriate and at the level that will be advantageous to your child/adolescent’s individual goals and healing.
You are NOT alone. We want to offer support in navigating this transition, one step at a time.
Some examples of child/adolescent issues can include:
- ADHD
- Anxiety or Fears
- Substance misuse or risky behaviors
- Conflict resolution
- Depression
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Parent or family issues
- Relationship or socialization issues
- School or academic concerns
- Sexuality and identity exploration
- Parent divorce-related conflict
We would be happy to sit down with your child/adolescent to build upon and support their personal goals and journeys in a safe and non-judgmental space.
